Beginning the Process:

- Familiarize yourself with buzzwords and themes listed in the CFP
- Consider your audience as you orient your topic to fit around the CFP
Components:
- Consider what type of presentation you want to give (individual paper, panel, workshop or research posters)
- Engage with the conference theme
- Be clear and concise to not go over the word count
Writing:
- Outline your topic and demonstrate how it relates to the larger disciplinary themes
- Provide a specific connection for why your research is important
- Avoid over-the-top phrases and jargon
- If you would like to add a quote be sure to cite properly
Submission:
- Proofread; check for mistakes
- Submit prior to the deadline
